Design of GBV prevention and combatting methods in the PE and sports sector

National Report, Italy

In the TETRIS Italian national report, the authors present the current status in Italy combining desk and field research in order to make an overview of the legal and policy framework regarding GBV and how assess GBV incidents in the sports sector were assesses, starting from the creation of the “Dipartimento per lo Sport” in 2020, a new department with the main goal of coordinating sports policy in Italy.

National Report, Greece

The TETRIS Greek national report in hand (Project Result 1/PR1: Collection of good practices and recommendations, Tasks 1.1 & 1.2) combines desk and field research (focus groups with 10 Physical Education/PE teachers and 10 PE higher education students and interviews with 5 institutional actors in Greece) in order to present the legal and policy framework in Greece regarding GBV and assess GBV incidents in the sports sector in Greece and identify and collect promising practices in combating GBV in the sports sector.

National Report, Cyprus

In the present report, produced within the context of the Erasmus+ TETRIS project (TEachers’ TRraining to combat Gender-based violence In Sports), the authors present the current status in Cyprus with regard to GBV in sports, focusing primarily on young athletes.
